DIRECTIONS:

FROM MILWAUKEE:

Take I 94 E to Exit344, Take the WI 50 exit toward Kenosha/Lake Geneva and turn right toward Lake Geneva, turn right onto 75th Street/WI 50 W, Turn left onto WI 75, Turn right onto Salem Road/County Road-AH. Continue to follow County Road-AH, Turn left onto Camp Lake Road / County Road – AH / County Road - SA, follow to camp entrance.

FROM CHICAGO:

Take I-94 W crossing into Wisconsin, Take the WI 50, Exit 344 toward Kenosha/Lake Geneva, turn left onto WI 50 / 75th Street, Turn left onto WI 75, Turn right onto Salem Rd / County Road-AH, continue to follow County Road – AH, turn left onto Camp Lake Road / County Road – AH / County Road – SA, follow to camp entrance

FROM MADISON:

Take I 39S / I-90E toward Janesville/Chicago, merge onto I 43 N via exit 185B toward Milwaukee. Merge onto US 12 E via exit 27A toward Lake Geneva, merge onto WI 50 E via exit 330B toward Kenosha. Turn right onto WI 75 / County Road - F, continue to follow County Road - F, turn left onto Camp Lake Road / County Road - SA, follow to camp entrance.

FROM ROCKFORD:

Take I 39 N / I-90 W Follow to Wisconsin, merge onto I 43 via exit 185B toward Milwaukee, merge onto US 12 E via exit 27A toward Lake Geneva, merge onto WI 50 E via exit 330B toward Kenosha, turn right onto 256th Ave / County Road – F, continue to follow County Road – F, turn left onto Camp Lake Road / County Road –SA, follow to camp entrance.

The telephone number is for the Salvation Army, Wonderland Camp office. Anyone calling will have to leave a message for you and await your return call once you have been located.

Please tell your families to call only for true emergencies requiring immediate attention.

Please assist the University by filling out the enclosed Personal Health and Medical Record Form. We need emergency notification and medical information in case you are involved in an emergency.

HOUSING:

LBPU housing will be a combination of Dormitory style rooms, Cabin rooms , & Lodge rooms. Dormitory and Cabins have multiple sets of bunk beds. Go to www.lbpuniv.org for pictures. The College will provide sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels. It may be cool in your room, so you may wish to bring extra blanket(s). Showers and restrooms are located in each area.

These accommodations are all on a first come, first served basis: Married couples may share a room, (hotel only) normal course fees apply. If you wish to room with one or more people of the same sex as yourself, please forward all reservations with fees together. No other method will be accepted.

Any room that is assessed a fumigation fee for smoking or other obnoxious odors will have the fumigation costs from the College passed on to the occupants of that room.

PARKING:

The LBPU Steering Committee to make your trip more enjoyable, encourages you to share a ride with someone else. It conserves fuel, makes your drive more pleasant and will make parking less of a hazard.

SETTING:

Salvation Army, Wonderland Camp is used by many not-for-profit organizations and is located in Camp Lake, WI. It is set in the beautiful country side however some minor walking is required. The campus has unlimited access for those with special needs.

FOOD SERVICE:

The food service is WHOLESOME, including homemade breads, salad bar, homemade soups, fresh and/or frozen vegetables, and home cooking for all entrees. All meals are served lunch room style. If you need doctor prescribed meals, please include your requirements with registration.

QUIET HOURS:

QUIET HOURS in all sleeping rooms and adjacent hallways is from 11:00 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please respect the needs of others to sleep. If you want to visit with others during this time, please use the “common areas”. Snoring is frequently a problem. If it bothers you, exercise wisdom in choosing roommates.

SMOKING AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES POLICY:

THERE IS NO SMOKING IN OR OUTSIDE THE IMMEDIATE ENTRANCES AND EXITS OF ANY BUILDING. If you must smoke, please do so during breaks or free time, outside of buildings, away from entrances.

Any room that is assessed a fumigation fee for smoking or other obnoxious odors will have the fumigation costs from the College passed on to the occupants of that room.

THE POSSESSION AND USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY PLACE OR TIME AT WONDERLAND CAMP.

SCOUT SHOP:

There will be a Boy Scout Shop (provided by the BSA National Supply Division) available for you to purchase various BSA and LBPU materials, supplies, and clothing.

SATURDAY NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT:

Saturday night entertainment will be provided for LBPU participants.  Please come out for an evening of fun and fellowship.
